Voice lessons taught through the Sanctuary have a strong focus on healthy singing. Our pedagogy is based on developing healthy building blocks of technique for each student. These techniques are then transferable into most musical genres.
Voice lessons are appropriate as teenagers and adults. It doesn’t matter if you are a shower singer or an on-stage prodigy, everyone can benefit from vocal lessons. They can help with audition preparation, self-confidence, processing emotions, musicality, self-discipline, and choral endeavors.
With over a decade of teaching experience, Samantha Stiner, studio owner, specializes in helping those in the LGBTQ+ community, especially folks who are trans/gender non-conforming. At the Sanctuary we believe every student should have the opportunity to find and develop their truest singing voice. Our body is an instrument and having help navigating that instrument, especially through transitional times, is incredibly important. Please feel free to reach out through our contact page if you or someone you know is interested in exploring their voice.
In person lessons are taught the home studio of Samantha. The studio is less than 1 mile from the Weber Exit of I-71 in Columbus, Ohio. Covid precautions are in place and students will be asked wear masks for lessons.
Online Lessons are taught through Zoom. Student are expected to have headphones, a laptop, and a reliable high-speed internet connection to provide the most ideal virtual experience. The online studio is open to all regardless of physical location.
